About Me

My name is Brian Hickman and photography has been my hobby for over 15 years. I bought my first SLR prior to a family vacation in Greece. The following year I worked on the high school yearbook staff as a photographer and copy editor. My love of photography has continued on through a more modern SLR, then my first digital and most recently a digital SLR.

In the past I've spent my time taking pictures of friends, family, and landscapes during my travels. I now do freelance photography to help offset the cost of my hobby. I have a wide experience and am always willing to try something new. Feel free to contact me with any of your photography needs. Since this is a hobby and I have a low overhead I offer very reasonable rates. Please check out my rates link below for some of my predetermined rates and packages. If you don't see something that fits your needs let me know and I will work with you. Please don't mistake the word hobby for non-professional. I strive for perfect images and settle for nothing less.

Currently I use an Olympus E1 and E-500 digital SLRs. I prefer Olympus to other D-SLRs because it was designed from the ground up for digital which gives it superior performance. For further information on the E-1 visit Olympus or DPReview.
